Pandemic Alert Levels
Covid – 19 Protection Framework Update
Presenting a Festival during such uncertain times has its challenges especially as we shift from the current alert level system to the new Covid-19 Protection Framework which is expected to come into effect soon.
Our priority is the health and safety of our audiences, artists, staff and crew.
We have been working closely with our colleagues at the NCMA who under the new framework will be operating with the new Vaccine Pass or certificate. As the NCMA is our dedicated festival venue, this means that access to the Adam Summer Celebration will require a Vaccination Pass for everyone involved in the festival from musicians, crew, front of house volunteers, our audiences to our supporters.
We know that this may have an impact on some people and their ability to attend. However, we hope that everyone will appreciate this is the only way for us to comply with the regulations and deliver the festival to full houses. With everyone’s support we can ensure that we keep each other safe while keeping the music alive for our audiences and musicians after what has been such a challenging time for all.
We are currently awaiting further guidelines from Government around the “Red Light” level requirements. If Nelson is in the “Red Light” Framework at the time of the festival, we will review the situation in consultation with the NCMA to decide if we can proceed with the festival with a reduced audience capacity.
We will adhere to all Government regulations and our terms and conditions of purchase and attendance will be updated accordingly. Please take this into consideration when purchasing your tickets. If the regulations mean that you are no longer able to attend, we are happy to refund your ticket.
Please note you must not attend the Adam Summer Celebration if the following applies to you or any other members of your group.
- You are currently subject to a 14-day isolation period.
- You are awaiting results from a COVID-19 test.
- You are feeling unwell with symptoms associated with COVID-19 (e.g fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, sneezing/running nose, loss of sense of smell and/or taste).
- You have come into close contact with any known or suspected case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
Please notify us if any of the above apply and we will provide a refund on your tickets.
If the Festival needs to cancel an event due to COVID-19, we will provide you with a full refund.
If the Festival reschedules an event due to COVID-19, we will contact you to see if you would like to transfer your ticket to the rescheduled Festival or you will be entitled to a full refund.
What Happens If Capacity Is Reduced
If we do have to operate under reduced capacity due to pandemic alert levels, the following policy will apply:
Entry will only be available to concert pass holders.
If the number of pass holders exceeds the regulated social distancing capacity, seats will be offered to pass holders on a negotiated first purchased basis.
Book For Your Bubble!
We request that you book for your bubble (close friends and partners) in one transaction. By doing so, we can make sure you are seated together in a reduced capacity scenario and at the same time can increase the capacity due to increased seating efficiencies.
Note that in a reduced capacity scenario we will be solely responsible for seating allocation.
Full Refunds Available
To be clear, we have an open door full refund policy on all tickets purchased for the Celebration, so if at any time any purchaser feels unable to attend, we will issue a full refund - no questions asked.
