Why are you offering a VIP+ Pass?
We acknowledge the anxiety surrounding our previous system of making passes available on a first come, first serve basis on the 1st September prior to the Festival. The idea with the VIP+ Pass is that previous pass holders can take time to make a purchase and can also pay in instalments if preferred.
What's the difference between a VIP+ and a VIP pass?
Both passes give you entry to all concerts, the two ‘Up Country’ events and include invitations to all special pre and post Festival VIP events.
However, the VIP+ Pass provides advanced purchase access for 2024 VIP Pass holders, the ability to pay in instalments and the ability to negotiate seat allocation.
The standard VIP Pass is only available from 1st September 2023 and is strictly available on a first come, first serve basis.
How does the price compare between passes?
The VIP+ Pass is priced at $1,500, whereas the standard VIP Pass is $1,350.
The Concert Lovers Pass which gives entry to all concerts does not include the ‘Up Country’ events or invitations to Special Festival VIP Events and is priced at $1080.
All prices are in New Zealand Dollars and include GST.
How does the installment plan work?
You can pay for the VIP+ Pass in three instalments.
The first instalment is deducted from your credit card the day you place your order. A further two instalments will be deducted monthly on the day of the month you placed the order
When does the VIP+ offer close?
The VIP+ Pass offer closes on 31st March 2023 to allow processing of instalment payments by 20th August 2023.
What happens if I don't like the programme?
Given we will not be releasing our programme until 1st September 2023, we understand that some people may feel reluctant to commit to a purchase before that date. This is why we offer a no-questions asked full refund if requested before 1st October 2023.
Are refunds available?
Yes, a no-questions-asked full refund is available on request prior to 1st October 2023. Refunds requested after this date will be subject to negotiation.
Is there a limit on the number of VIP+ passes available?
Yes, there are only 80 VIP+ Passes available.
Why is the VIP+ pass only available to previous VIP Pass holders?
In order to best manage seating requests and to preserve seating selection for existing VIP Pass holders we cannot accommodate new people into the VIP+ Pass scheme.
Our standard VIP Pass will still be available for sale on 1st September 2023 and this would be the way new people could access the benefits of our VIP Pass offers.
Alternatively access to equivalent VIP Pass benefits are provided through some of our donor tiers.
What if I invite a friend that has not attended before?
Because we are limited to only 80 VIP Passes and we want to give previous VIP Pass Holders priority, any new applications for the VIP pass need to be made when the standard VIP Pass goes on sale on 1st September 2023.
How does the seat allocation work?
Our overarching policy is to reserve the seats previously allocated to pass holders. If a seating change is requested then once the VIP+ Pass offer closes we will do our best to reallocate seats based on requests received.
We will also make available for reallocation any seats held by previous VIP Pass holders who have not taken up on the VIP+ Pass offer.
Is the Gala Dinner included in the VIP+ pass?
No, the Gala Dinner is an optional extra available when general tickets go on sale on 1st October 2023.
