Adam Chamber Music Festival - Nelson, New Zealand

2009 Adam Festival Volunteers

Volunteers have been a major factor in the success of the Adam Chamber Music Festival. All enthusiastic chamber music lovers, volunteers are the first point contact with the Festival’s public and provide a human face to this vital relationship.

But they are not just ‘cheer leaders’ at concerts; the Adam Chamber Music Festival Volunteers carry out important tasks which are vital to the smooth running of the Festival and safety at public performances.

Cello

Volunteer tasks include:

  • Ushering at concerts
  • Door and interval sales
  • Driving artists to and from rehearsals and concerts
  • Hosting duties at pre- and post-concert events

  • Volunteer Privileges

In Festival venues it is possible for most front-of-house staff (ushers & sales people) to enjoy the majority of the performance while carrying out their duties.

Ultimately a Festival’s success is the result of teamwork from all involved. If you would like to find out more about becoming an Adam Chamber Music Festival Volunteer Contact Us Here.
