Sponsors and Funders

Support from sponsors and funding bodies enable us to produce our festival to the highest international standards. We are grateful and proud to be associated with the following investment partnerships:

Principal Sponsor

The Nelson City Council is the principal sponsor of the Adam Chamber Music Festival. It invests in the Festival through its Events Strategy because of the substantial economic impact the Festival has on the Nelson economy.

Naming Rights Sponsor

Long time supporters of the Festival are Denis and Verna Adam through the Adam Foundation. Without their support the Festival would probably not have survived to where it is today.

Major Sponsors

Golden Edge Nelson Pine Industries are a long time major sponsor of the Festival and sponsor the Opening and Closing concerts in the Festival every two years.

We welcome New Zealand Sotheby's International Realty as a new sponsor in 2017 and they will be supporting the Gala Dinner at Mahana Estates.

Major Funding Bodies

The Festival receives funding from Creative New Zealand for specific creative aspects of the Festival including composition commissions, lecture series and specific presentations.

The Rata Foundation (formerly Canterbury Community Trust is a long time supporter of the Festival and provides funding for community aspects of the Festival.

The Turnovsky Endowment Trust is a strong supporter of the Arts in New Zealand and is a regular supporter of the Festival.

Arts Partners

We have entered into an Arts Partner relationship with Chamber Music New Zealand to produce the Troubadour programme. As well as showcasing their music in the Adam Chamber Music Festival the Troubadours will go on to tour with Chamber Music New Zealand in their Encompass Concert Series.

Further sponsors and funders for the 2017 Festival will be announced in due course. To enquire about sponsorship opportunities in the 2017 Festival contact Bob Bickerton.
