10th Adam Chamber Music Festival Artists [Archive]

A native of Winnipeg, Canada and graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, Diedre Irons moved to New Zealand in 1977. She performs frequently with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra and the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, has toured many times under the auspices of Chamber Music New Zealand and records extensively for Radio New Zealand.

She is Head of Piano Studies at the New Zealand School of Music and continues to travel internationally, to date having presented concerts in 25 countries. Diedre Irons was awarded an MBE for services to music in 1989.
